Zone.exe crashes :(
 

I am trying to get any Eqemu server up and running but every time it try to load the zones I get an error... :x

I am on a Win2k Server with...
Sevice pack 2
256mb ram
40+ Gb hard drive

I have rebuild the database and Eqemu for 0.3.13, 0.4.0, 0.4.1
In all cases when I try to start the zones with the boot5zones.bat
I get this error...

Zone.exe - Application Error

The instrunction at "0x0045ae11" referenced memory at "0x10618828". The memory could not be "read".

Any help on this?

I've had the same exact problem as you, except under 3 different computers (2 of which with winXP & one with win98se)

make sure you move your spells_eng.txt or whatever into the eqemu directory. there is supposed to be an error message if it isn't there, but it doesn't show on 2k and other operating systems...that was my problem, at least.

Still Crashes
 

I do have the Spells_en.txt copied in the directory and it still crashes. :?

Anymore ideas as to why this is happening?? :x
