ummm where is "Create Database" on mysql?
 

4. Now from "Winmysqladmin.exe" select the Database tab and right click the area for Databases and click Create Database.
Type in "eq" as the database name (without the quotes) and click Create database.

i dont see create database when i rightclick in left box.

/sigh this mysql is fux0red, i had it working, i was able to create database and stuff long ago, but not this time.

i tried to use mysql.exe and typed the command:

mysql> create database eq

but it created "create" file.. im guessing mysql downloaded was corrupted or something, redownloading new one.

no, you have to run mysql first, mysql> is the mysql command prompt

c:\> zip.exe <-- would mean run zip.exe at the dos prompt
mysql> use database eq; <--would mean type "use database eq;" at the mysql prompt after running mysql.exe

o thx i got that eq db added in mysql, but i cant get friggin 1017 to go away, my firewall is unchecked, tried eqadmin to add account, tried minilogin fix, all other attempts dont make 1017 to go away aeiiiiiiiiiii...

tell me if any single win xp user get pass that ghey 1017 then tell me how.
