need some help read
 

:roll: why everytime i try friggin loging on a server.. i get to char screen.. go to log in game.. and it always just boots to desktop.. every server does it i was just in like 20mins ago but now it does this shit.. and the servers im going in have over 10 people in them wtf...

Have you patched EQlive? Are you running off the same Folder? If you are join the IRC channel and type !help. Are you on Dialup? I have been seeing alot of issues there. I think it has to do with your connection not being able to handle the flood or Packets or the size.

As allways the Best advice I can give is for everyone to have 2 EQ Folders. 1 for EQLive and 1 for EQEMu. The EQEMu You dont patch unless you read the forums and it tells you to.

if you get packet flood lower the number in the datarate.whatever file, or use #datarate to set it between 5 and 10 for dialup

Same thing happens for me
i looked for the data rate file but i cannot find it
i cant even get me a characters made cuz of the disconnection

If you can't get a character made you might need to get the eqfix.
