1017, patcher doesnt help
 

After insatllin EQ, patching on sony's servers, i used EQfix... i was getting 1017s... so i got the EQemu patcher... installed it to my EQ directory, ran the icon.... still getting 1017 errors.....


anyone have any ideas?

the same thing is happening to me but when i run the patcher it tells me that some files are missing (a few "EQUI_" files) and then the patcher tells me that all the files are alright but i try to log in a server and get the error. i even looked and those EQUI files are there. could someone help me out here what should i do?

Having the same problem, but just on my/geekside server... (Daenk's server), could it be the server is out of date? How would one update it?

so i ./world
then ./zone . 64.246.46.65 7995 64.246.46.65

(yes i know only two zones, but im only trying to get it to work right now, i can add zones later.)

the firewall has 5999, 7995, 7996, 7997, 7998, 7999, 8000, and 9000 opened....

any ideas? i can conenct to other EQEmu Servers... but my own server returns an error 1017.
