Definately need some help from fellow eqemu'ers
 

0.4.3 is out now and I want to take advantage of it. However, I don't think I'm doing what I need to be doing. I downloaded it from the source fourge, I downloaded the 0.4.3 file, but now I don't know what to do with it. So I guess my question is, once downloaded onto my computer, what do I do?

Really this post should be in the support section of the forums. You would probably get more help from them in there. but i'll still help you out. First off this is the link of the win32 Binary files (the exe files needed to run)

Then from there you will also need a database. go here to get mysql

After you got all that read the readme files in the win32 binary zip and that should help out. also read this.

are you trying to make a server or just play on one?
if you just wanna play you gotta change your eqhost.ini to what it says in the readme. Otherwise i have no idea lol

you change your eqhost.txt
not the eqhost.ini (I don't think that even exists)

Can we delete all but the one? I swear, this post is on all the topics. Sorry, me being an ass.
