Runt-Time Error 430
 

I seem to be haveing a small problem. I am trying to setup everquest to play here. I have followed the walkthrough, but am having a problem. After useing Everquest.exe to patch, I tried to run the patcher program from www.eqemu.net. When I run it I get the following error.

Run-Time error 430. Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface.

Any ideas what this means and how to fix it? I am running win 98. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, I found the soulution, it was in the walkthrough, but not where I was looking. If anyone else has this problem, you need to try downloading the mdac update which can be found here http://www.eqemu.net/patcher/mdac_typ.exe .

ps. The walkthrough says to patch to EQLive. How do you know when the patch has gotten that far? And what do you do when it has gotten that far? Cancel the patching?
