patchsrv.dat NEED ANSWER PLZ

i've searched thru the board, all i've found is to wait for the devs? but that was threads from last month... the patcher seems to work perfectly on my friend's computer, so why not mine?

can i plz get an answer for this problem?
i don't have any firewalls, proxies, and i don't think my port 80 or any of my ports are blocked.
