Help please! directx 6 error
 

Hello,

Could someone tell me how to fixed this?

I have Win2k pro, With Nvidia 64MB Geforce 2 Pro.
I have uninstalled reinstalled the OS, reinstalled EQ, go to use the \path\ and run eqgame.exe patchme

and always get directx 6 needs to be installed error.! I have tried every version of directx from Microsofts site!

One thing is when I load the drivers for my video card, it automatically loads up dirext7! Do you know do I have to some how not install directx7? bumming out, been at this awhile now.
