Does anyone know of a server where the lvl requirments on items have been removed?

No but you can beat them...
Get to level 10...
Put all the stuff you want to keep in main slots...
Die close to your bind...
Right-Click(Auto-Equip)your stuff...
Tada...

Strange that the health loss when equipping a recommended-level item is apparently client-side, but it doesn't happen in EQLive.
Seems like a REALLY drastic anti-twinking measure :D
