how to start without patching
 

ok finally got patcher to work it patches files and then takes me to server select i pick krushers screen goes black and then it crashes when i try to run patch again i get error 70 it wont patch is there a way to load game without patching i heard once u patch not to patch again but how do i start the game without patching???

go to the start menu and go to Run

enter exactly this:
"C:program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme

if that is not your directory, then put in yours. it will open up the program without need of patching.

Well...i now have it saved in my Microsoft word, but i keep getting some strange error....smackw32.dll cant be found or something. There is no such file in Everquest for a file like this...so what should i do

Try updating to the Live Version, and then running the EQEMU Patcher.

If the EQEmu patcher is giving an error be sure to reboot before trying it again. (or make sure the patcher process is closed in taskmanager) Sometimes the windows disapears but the process is still running, keeping you from being able to run the patcher again.
