Bad Username/Password

Hello EQEMu community :)

I followed the readme exactly for setting up my own LAN server (more than once to make sure I hadn't messed up somewhere)...
I begin running:
MiniLogin
World
Boot5zones
Patch

And EQ starts up... Then when I enter "eqemu" as username and password it says I have a bad username or password. I don't get it, I followed all the instructions, and even flagged eqemu in the command prompt like another thread suggested. Thanks for your help

Open Windcatcher's admin tool, and look in the accounts section. If you do not see an eqemu/eqemu account then make one and try logging in again.

well you cant run patcher on localhost it patches to eqemu servers not your own therefor you cant use eqemu name/pass when running patcher u must use your forum name/pass if u want to run lan/localhost just open the foulder that came with eqemu called eqhostchanger click on minilogin then click save then goto a cmd prompt<depending on your os> and type c:/locationtoeqfoulder/eqgame.exe patchme
this will start eq and allow you to log onto your miniaccount

Thanks guys! That kinda worked, hehe. :?

I did what Fleyhum said for my local server and I didn't get bad username/password! (yay!) Now I get Error 1001. I think I fixed a 1002 error by running the eq patcher and updated to newest version (and yes I switched host back to localserver), but now I get this 1001 servers down, when its my own server. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks again :)
