Ok, i have everything working. I boot up eqw and set out to make my character. I make him, but for some reason, when he is selected on the character select screen, he isnt the design i created. Then I try to enter the world, and it brings up the everquest montage screen as it usually would. However, it crashed before I can enter the world. Is this something I've done wrong? Or is it an issue with WinXP? Thanks for all your help thus far, and thanks for any input on this.

Crashing after you hit enter world is "normal" and happens all the time (even to me). try deleteing the char and making a new one in a differant startzone.
