Steps to play on Winter's Roar
 

Quick & Dirty steps to login to Winter's Roar.

1. Visit www.wintersroar.com
2. READ the RULES http://www.wintersroar.com/rules.html
3. Create a new forum account (ie.. register)
4. Say Hi and introduce yourself in the forums
(this step is not manditory but it's a good way to meet ppl)
5. Download the WRFILES
http://www.wintersroar.com/files/WRFiles.zip
6. Put the EQHOSTS.TXT & SPELLS_EN.TXT in your Everquest directory.. Backup your original of those 2 files first
7. Make sure to use the latest patcher located at
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/e...r.exe?download
8. Login to EQ using the WR account info you created (forum acct)
9. Create your character
10. When your in the game world. Type #doapproval
11. Then type #flag

Your all set... have fun.. be sure to say hi to Optical when you
get this far :wink: it's definately worth the effort! :P
