Attack range?
I've noticed with several of my characters (65 monk, 65 cleric) that when fighting a mob in hand-2-hand that the distance seems wrong. If I aggro a mob and it comes to me it'll stop at a certain distance. It'll start pounding away on me, but I can't "reach" it. I have to move slightly forward to be within range. This happens with all mobs and is especially noticeable with my monk (since he uses more face to face combat).
Is this adjustable in the variables table somewhere or am I just losing my mind here? <g> bill |
I've noticed this too.. it seems to happen with all NPCs, even level-1 ones. The distance that they stop is just far enough for them to hit you but not vice versa. Move forward a couple of steps and you can usually hit them back.

It's a height issue, try gnome vs barbarian and vis versa. It's calulated from the targets head height, and not very well (try hitting lady vox ect.). npc_types needs a melee_range added to it so we can tweak on a mob by mob basis
