MoBs attack when KOS ?
 

Hi there.. i got a little Question.

So far my Server is almoust fully populated and almoust every MoB is wandering around, but is there a way a MoB attacks a player if he is KoS ?? I find its really annoying if i have to do the 1st strike on every MoB to get them attacking me....

You sure you are not running around flagged as GM?

Well i created a noobie without any GM flag, but the MoBs stand there and don't even try to touch me...

I also saw this on other allready running servers... MoBs not touching me unless i touch them...

any clues ?

Depending on your database, aggro might not be in effect. Try another database. See sig or Worldbuilding forum for databases.

Sounds like a faction problem, your database probably doesn't have any faction included.

Oh well, i have all factions included. If i con the several MoBs they con like their faction. Ally - warmly - apprehensively - and so on.. but it doesnt work...

Did aggro code get botched in 4.3? I can't remember. Try the CVS versions.

I think it got botched a bit after that when it started doing z-axis checks. I think it's corrected in CVS now.

Umm... the CVS version is only the Source isn't it ??

I dont have a compiler to get it working..... if its sourcecode..

Just wait a couple of days, drawde will release some binaries...

i have found that if you have an account status greater than 0 nothing will aggro on you. Set your account status to 0 and log back into your world...voila.
