I tried everthing yet i still failed, any idea why?
 

Well I tried the 7 easy steps to the letter. All the files are as posted. Everything works, My server shows up but when i try to log on it gives me a "Cannot find patch server, please run the patch later...." error message. Any ideas..... i'll post the exact message later when i am at home... but any help now would b great.

OK...first things first...you should always post what's inside your:

eqhost.txt
boot5zones.bat
minilogin.exe
loginserver.ini
db.ini

files before making a post. That way we can know exactly what to put inside these. You have to remember to always use "localhost" where it asks for your ip inside these files since your computer will be acting as client/server. Post what's in these files on the forum and i will tell you what you should have inside them(remember to mask your password/username with ****)
