New tutorial up at World Builder Guild
The new tutorial is "Spawning Mobs".
Please E-Mail me if you have any corrections or additions to it. You can help make WBG the best EQEmu custom content site out there. |
I like the idea and look of the page. While I know a lot, putting it into words for others to understand.... that is the hard part!
I'll try to write some things up and if they aren't clear someone else can try to make them easier to understand. |
Everyones help is appreciated :)

just added Wolf's #spawnfix command to cvs. That should help worldbuilders in manually tweaking their databases

If you target a misplaced mob, and type #spawnfix, it will update the mobs position and heading with your current heading/position.
In other words, you stand exactly where and how you want the mob to be , type #spawnfix , then #repop, and the mob will be in the position you were in, with your heading. Very handy when you want to get those guards standing in just the right spot in front of Freeport. |
Thanks, the tutorial is now updated :)

Hey Trump, was it added before 4.4 came out or is it in the cvs after 4.4?
------- Also I was wondering if maybe you could send the file with the working #spawnfix command. I tried the cvs but with my lack of knowledge in cvs and c++ compiling it didnt work. ------- Hey I don't know if it's just me, but I just compiled the cvs to use the spawnfix command, but everytime I use it, it crashes the zone. |
