EQEmu startup speed
 

When I start up the world and zone servers while in WinMe it takes about a minute for the world server to be ready, same goes for the zone servers. But when I run them under WinXP they're ready in just a just a few seconds. Anyone know what causes this? I also have this prob when I start up the EQEmu Admin Tool.

Cause Xp is a better operating system that loads it better??? :p

Just a guess though, hehe. I have slow loading also on my computer but that's just because it's getting old just kinda expected. Eq admin takes almost 7 minutes on my slow junker

I use winME as well, and I have to wait a minute or so for my servers to connect to each other as well.

Firewalls slow it down a bit.. if it takes more than 30 secs and still hasnt fully loaded, close it, wait 5 secs and load it up again. thats what i do.
