Problem
 

If I login:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}

, i select a server it says that it couldn't I have to re-run the patch. What's the problem?

Refer to everything that says "1017" in this forum lol. Maybe you can find an answer within that because I have ni idea since I am facing the same issue.

Did you run the EQEmu patcher?

I did...if I run just the patcher w/o using EQW I get runtimme 53 error, file unknown.

Post the error's complete text and I'll tell you the fix.

"runtime error '53':
File not found"

that's exactly what it says, also when it patching it says

Retrieving file list from patch server...
Checking versions of EQ files...
Missing file:
and after missing file: it has a bunch of files, alot of them are UI files like "EQUI_animations.xml" and "EQUI_CharacterCreate.xml" It also has "everquest.exe" as one of the missing files.

I hope i put enough information, cause i didn't want to right all the patch info down

you have to put the eq patcher.exe and all his "funny" files in your eq directory!
