4.4 bugs
Well 4.4 the npc seem to be harder to kill, this is good because the dr 1 version i was using a lvl 5 war could kill a Hill giant , since the new quest thing my server has more lag across my lan so i think they r taking up xtra space in memory since they have to be loaded when the zoneservers are loaded, also with quest in 4.4 full release the castspell command doesn't work on my server also tried using justaddwaters quests and the npc says you will be bound here or somthing like that but no spell is casted. i cant seem to get it to come out of gm mode it will turn nametag blue but stuff will still not agro me in which in 4.4 dr 1 if i turned gm off stuff would agro me even tho i was flagged. the merchants have some weird selling bug where some items take all your money, not sure if this is a database issue but some merchants (spell merchants to be exact will not show up the items in there inventory no mater what table is assigned to them. sometimes when i type #zone i get sent to the safepoint of the zone im in and have to type it again to zone. not sure if all fear spells do this but the bards screech spell cases zone to crash (btw i have a lvl 52 bard on morell thule) (account isn't activated right now since ive been on eqemu) if u need information about thim ill help anyway i can since i read some where that information needs to be collected on them. ill post more as i find them

I have had the same problems, I've been trying to find a pattern but I haven't really found anything yet with the buying items taking up all of my money. I have noticed that the server seems to keep track of it just fine, it just zero's out the client. I have also noticed that it only seems to be certain items that do this. And generally I the server doesn't take off all of the money it's supposed to, so once I zone, I have most if not all of the money I had before (haven't actually recorded the numbers to see exactly.)
I have also noticed that damage over time spells don't want to stack. At least the ones that I tried. The bards second level DOT didn't seem to work at all, along with the bards spell to make him move faster (can't remember what it's called right now.) I'm not sure if anyone else has had any trouble with the spells, and I haven't tried the druid's SOW spell to see if it's something with speed in general. Unforuntaly I don't know enough about how the server sends information to the client to help in this other then just give information. If anyone else has had this problem and it's some kind of setup problem could you post back on this? |
