EQEmulator Forums - Big Problem

I have a problem, and i know this has been talked about for awhile, but I have never seen any real helpful information. Here's the deal so far. I have 2 folders containing everquest, the first folder is my main which i use to play on sony's servers, the second folder I am attempting to use for Eqemu. I have all of the files and things needed, and i followed the startup guide to a T. I am not going to try and run a sever, I simply and ONLY want to play on other's servers. I make it through the login screen, select any of the severs "I have attempted all servers available" and I get the 1017, stating to re-run the update patch. I see the user numbers changing, so I know that other people are actually able to login, but I have never one made it to the charactor screen yet. I have downloaded the Emu patcher, and ran it, without any error messages of any type. I have followed all of the directions given thus far, and would like some clarity on this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :oops:
