Having weird problems with gotfrags servers
 

Locally, when I run my own server and just connect to it via minilogin, i have little to no problems. Although, when I attempt to connect to gotfrags login, then choose -any- server on the serverlist.. I stay connected just long enough to sit there a minute, configure hotkeys, etc.. then my lag meter spikes, flips out, then just goes to 100% latency and disconnects me. This happens on every server regardless

I know the problems derive around the same things for staying connected to verants servers.. but is there anything I could do to improve this? or.. does the fact that I'm on a dialup just limit me to local play? I've played EqLive (when I owned an account) on this same isp and had very little trouble.

Just wondering if I could do something to improve this, so I can play on servers with other people =]
