Well, here I am with another problem . . .
 

Ok, so I patched the Aug 26th patch and got 1017. I decided to wait patiently for the new version.

But then I remembered another computer in my house has EQ installed and patched pre-Aug 26. So I load eqemu the same way I normally do:

Change eqhost.txt to this:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

Then create a shortcut of eqgame.exe to desktop and put the word 'patchme' at the end of the command line in Properties after a space.

Now, I still get 1017 as if I have patched Aug 26 on that computer, but I haven't. Any suggestions?

(Please don't tell me to use search, thanks :) )

Client on the other computer is probably one or more patches too old, then.
