I'm new to all this is EverQuest + POP the one to get?
 

I figure I will buy this, I get one month free play on Everquests official server to try out... Is this the version to get? (EverQuest + The Planes of Power Expansion)

EDIT: If I buy this is it safe to autoupdate the game is there a way to be able to play on your servers anyway?

Depends on the price ... Everquest Evolutions has been released
which has all expansions, including Legacy of Ykesha (but not the latest one, Lost Dungeons of Norrath).

To play on live servers you will need to patch up to date, which means you cannot play on EQEmu until 5.0DR3 is released (date as yet unknown)

EDIT: Warning: If you start on EQLive it may well suck up your life full time for years to come :) I played EQLive every spare moment for a year or more before I finally quit ;-) I like the Emu because I can dip into it for a short time just for 'old times sake' ... not as addictive as the real 'Hard' drug :P

if i delete everquesat and dont patch up can i play on the servers??
