Just registerd today, and I followed the "how to" guide. Well I set it up just like it told me and when I go to log in I use the same name and password as I did to log into the Forums, but I get the message "EQEMu Error: Bad username/password". Something I did wrong or something I missed?

If you are new, you cannot play EQEMu at this time. There is no magic work around.

This question has been asked several dozen times over the past few days, even though the answer is available in the FAQ section.

THERE IS NO WAY TO PLAY EQEMU RIGHT NOW IF YOU ARE NEW:
* Reinstalling EQ WILL NOT WORK
* Only installing certain expansions WILL NOT WORK
* Hopping on one foot while patting your head WILL NOT WORK
* Asking anyone to send you files WILL NOT WORK
* Patching to EQLive WILL NOT WORK

Please stop asking, there is nothing you can do at this time.

Oh well. I feel dumb now :?
