What programs do I need to make a 5.0-DR3 server?
 

Ok, I got the 5.0-DR3 database now what do I do to run this thing into a server I dont think I use world.exe or boot5zones.ini for this anymore so what do I use and where can I find the program PM or post here please, thank you.

P.S. If it was in the readme on how to do it im sorry for not knowing I must have over looked it then. :oops:

for my database.

I think I need WorldDebug.exe to make it work... wheres this file at?

read the guide on running a 5.0 server thats found right on the main page. Also you need a program to compile the binaries.

You don't compile binaries, but close enough, Matt.

The current 5.0DR3 is reserved for developers and those who can compile raw source code into executables. Source code is a mash of words, semi-words, letters, symbols, and logic that a computer will interpret into something usable to itself, in a 1 and 0 format. If you don't have the tools or the knowledge to turn the code into 1's and 0's, then you can't host a server with the current release.

So basically I gotta wait for 5.0 final. Btw how far are they going with this thing? 5.0-DR4? DR5?

They go all the way to 5.0DR99, then they release 5.0DR99.01 all the way to 5.0DR99.99, then it rolls over to 5.01DR1. With a release every few weeks, I'll see 6.0 before I die... I hope.

We will go on with the Dev releases (DRx series) as long as it takes to get a product that people can use w/o asking idiotic questions to us every 10mins.

omg ok I get ur point ur all very sarcastic and basically what your all trying to say is... "we dont know when its coming out". Anyways I got this new file from TCSMYWORLD and its for the 5.0-DR4 server but when I load it into mysql and boot it up it says its 4.4 server... wtf is going on?
