Yea that sucks, it avoids pop up blockers too. I even tried disconnecting my internet at night but I still woke up with 50 of them on my screen.
|
yeah, thanks from me too matt. It was so annoying, those things would pop up while i was playing EQLive and minimize it. Don't know how many times i've died from that

omg I was getting the same annoying popups it comes along with windows XP too. Man someone has to get that out to everyone like advertise it or something cause I know a TON of people who have the same problem. I fixed it another way though for my friend I just downloaded adware remover program and it removed it. Its from going to 'certain' websites then they find out your IP and they send you these annoying things.

actualy I got that site on one of the pop ups i got

Irony anyone?
Thanks again... Kgaul |
If you boot up in SAFE MODE you can then delete the folder with messenger in it....
I helped a friend, did exactly this, and NO MORE POP UPS!!! (Messenger prg gone) Good luck!! John :) |
Or you can just go to Control Pannel, Administrative Tools.. Services.. Find Messenger, Go to Properties.. and change Sartup Type to Disabled. Hit Ok, Then Right Click Messenger again and click Stop.
