connection issues, #commands
 

okay, so i can connect to random j server (5.x) and run around fine
i can summon water/bread no problem, i can #zone fine as long as the zone i want is up

but


if i item search (even for a specific item name and it's only one result) and then summon said item, i then get disconnected.
manipulation of some objects do the same thing


patched to eq live as of the beginning (8th?) of october
did datarate->8.0 thing
login works fine

as long as i don't try and play with items OTHER than bread and water, i get great ping, steady data flow. the second i try anything else, boom!

anyone have any ideas?

note: why yes, i am doing this from dialup. how kind of you to pity me :cry:

How many times dose the stament '5.0 is for developers, it is NOT done yet. they are being nice making the code avaluble for people to bring up servers. be patient and stuff will get fixxed. need to be wrote in these forums?

well, the fact that it's done this with every single version i've tried out (most) and i've just now gotten around to getting off my lazy ass and mentioning it :P

Well if it did this to ou in 4.4, then the issue is you not the EMU :shock:

Dont know what to tell you in that case.


Try posting your computer specs, expancions owned ect so people can see if thats the issue.
