I will be creating a new server, look for it in the near future. It will be as legit as I can possibly make it. It won't let you #level, and do all those commands that should be for GMs only. It will be pretty much like the other legit servers.

I'm going to make a few events on it, Quests obviously, but for example of a event, Iksars attempting to invade Qeynos? Dwarves try to take over Neriak? I have a lot of ideas for events that could happen on the server.

Feel free to make some suggestions about what you would like to see in a server, suggest a name, whatever you want.

I'll try to use some of the ideas you suggest.

Also, the server will be running on a fast connection (10Mbps) 24/7.. or as long as I can keep it up.

I am looking for good GMs that will not abuse their power. Let me know if you can help out.

Unfortunately, I have the same issue, but I think 2007 is in the near future..

I'm sure (I hope) it will be all good before then..

At the moment I am in debate of what commands should be available to regular users.... Would I let people summon items?

This server is basically a server for everyone.. suggest what you want, and I will do my best to add in what sounds reasonable...

Its important at this stage of the EMu to supply commands like: #zone and #movechar.. due to zoneline and crashing issues. I hope this helps you out.

I think you should add lots of new triggered events and not just GM events. Personally I'm against the idea of GM events, because no matter how hyped you are, eventually you're just gonna run out of ideas and get tired of doing it. So, it'd be best to dump your best ideas into pre-triggered events that players can always do whenever they want. Acrylia Ring-of-Fire, coldain ring war, heck even helping Nitram Anizok get to the PoI dragon and the broodmother in GD. Those sort of things are something I personally enjoy the most.

As for races invading cities, I think dwarves would try to invade Oggok, and the wood/high elves would try to invade Neriak. Oh, and while we're on the topic, I'd like to see a conflict of sorts between Paineel and Erudin. Odus is the most under-used continent in EQ and has the most room for improvement, IMO.

Heh, I will probably use those ideas, as you are the only one to submit any event ideas so far.

I am still optimistic that more people will go ahead and give me some ideas on what they would like to see in a server.

Just a note, my server will be up 24/7 as often as possible. I will be running it on a Linux Dedicated server at VerseHost...

I don't reboot often, unless I need to:

It would have been higher, except there was a issue and the server kept rebooting a while back, its fine now, however.
