Bad Server Name
 
Okay, I've Got my 4.4 Server up and running on my machine just fine using Minilogin.exe. I set it up to run through eqemu login, and world.exe returns the following:

Using database 'eq' at localhost
[Status] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EqEmu 0.4.4
[Error] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EqEmu 0.4.4
Loading Variables, zone names & items...
EMuShareMem.dll loaded.
Loading items from database...
...done.
LoginServer.ini read.
Loading guild ranks...done.
Loading EQ time of day...done.
Reboot Zones mode ON
Deleted 0 stale player corpses from database.
Deleted -1 stale player backups from database.
You may already be a winner... of the darwin award.
TCP listening on: 65.199.124.185:9000
World server listening on: 65.199.124.185:9000
Connected to LoginServer: eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5999
Login server responded with FatalError. Disabling reconnect.
Error message: 'Bad server name. Unknown reason.'


Bad Server Name?????
(This is new when I tried to use eqemu login.)


[Status] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EqEmu 0.4.4
[Error] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EqEmu 0.4.4 ??????
(This has always been there.)

Any Help would be appreciated.

Try using a longer server name, and dont include the word "Server" in it, because that is automatically appended to the end.

Next time post your configs and stuff. It is kind of hard to tell, because it could be numerous things. (In this case it most likely is the obvious) Just keep this in mind next time you post an error, cause we aren't mind readers. :roll:

It'll make it easier to respond and get the fix for you faster.
