Okay, now I've cured this problem (God knows how), but the screen is blinking madly. I believe I saw a thread about that, though, so I'll check it out. Thanks anyway!

Hey! Let me preface by saying I've been searching the forum for an hour, and can't find the solution to this, nor any identical issue to the one I'm having.

I finally cured my first black screen...
