Ok I fixed the bad user name\pass error, and can now log onto the server just fine.But, I get disconnected when i choose a character.

You can skip the patcher program you know?Open up MS-DOS and put in your EQ directory.For me i put in D:\Program Files\Everquest
Then after that, put in eqgame patchme and it will skip the patch...
