crash when i should just start playing

Anybody know why i would be crashing to desktop instead of playing th game? I select character, i load, and instead of the user interface coming up, i go to desktop

Edit:Also, i tried on 3...

i downloaded it and everything, but when i try to get on a 3.0.2 server, it says i need to re-run patcher

how i get old eqhost file back?

Tired of soloing every thing... what is regular EQhost supposed to say? I deleted old eqhost file, but when i repatch and try to login, it says my account doesn't exist. So, i still have to be...

doh! When i run (c:\everquest\eqgame.exe patch me) it says..

Please run EverQuest.exe

How i fix it? =)
