Never mind, I sorted it out. The issue was that I did not change the file path name on the EQlauncher to have the "patch me" after the directory line, my apologies!

Not sure if this is in the right area or not but my problem seemed to fit. As I try to input a different host ... Host=eqemulator.net:5998 the EQhost text file changes back to the AXclassic I had it...
