Are we talking NAT addressing thats the problem? What about IP masquerading?

I could use a little more detail than just AOL/cable modem.

don't patch your eq installation if you want to be safe. You could back up all the files, that works too.

If you don't play EQlive, then just don't patch and you should be fine.

Thanks for the suggestions. The eqw gets me logged in consistantly, but I can't get my mouse back. I tried the ctrl-alt-r but it doesn't do anything.

So, I guess I am waiting for the next release...

After 0.2.0 came out I did an EQ patch, Replaced my eqhost.txt, logged in and played on eq.gotfrags with no problems.
