Making a backup of eq on cd

hey, i've already done a few searches, but couldn't find what i was looking for.

i want to backup my eqemu-working files onto a cd but as you all know it takes a lot of space. what im asking is...

try downloading the binary again from this site and use the whatever.dll it's complaining about.

some are different sizes, i think the one that should work is the 100ish kb one

the other error...

download the binary and the addon-> copy just the db.sql from the binary -> source that in mysql -> extract the addon to...

go here http://cecugfile.net/ and download the 4.2 binary and the addon... copy the db.sql from the binary, paste it...

i think it's supposed to be 2 separate lines like

use eq;
INSERT INTO account SET etc...

cuz the line that follows what you typed just says database changed... i think it's supposed to say...

go to start -> run -> C:\mysql\bin\mysqladmin drop eq
then open mysql and create a new one

if you're using the 4.1 db try...

does any db have pop spawns? the one im using has 0 npc's on most pop zones and the ones that do are just human models

get admin utility and under accounts... the second to the last column on the right.... lsidsomething... put a 0 if there's nothing there.

was having the same problem. dunno where i found the solution but someone suggested to keep the eqpatched xml files and not replace them with the ones on the fix... it worked for me

k i installed eq n expansions up to pop, got eqemu 0.4.1, mysql 3.23, and the fix from irc. i followed the readme for the minilogin local server, and first i got the 1017 but fixed it by command...
