Figured out how to get it working in fullscreen. You just have to right click on the shortcut click on properties, go to the compatability tab and set it to run in 640 x 480 compatability mode. ...

My g/f has been getting this error and I have tried installing, and reinstalling, and deleting and reinstalling and rolling back drivers for her video card (ATI Radeon x700) and still getting this...

If you go into your EQ folder and open up the eqclient file there is a line which will read :
WindowedMode=FALSE
Change that to
WindowedMode=TRUE
and it will be in windowed mode.

Widescreen Resolutions?
Does anyone know if it is possible to get EQ to run at widescreen resolutions i.e. 1600x1050?
If it isn't I guess I'll have to deal with changing my resolution a lot lol
