eqemulauncher: not enough permissions error

okay when i click play on eqemulauncher after ive done all of the things for it to work it says not enough permissions aborting patches.....

spell's outdated

after i go to log on and when i go to the character page to choose a character some names pop up and say your spells are outdated.

eqemulator play guide: step 4: host file access denied

I go into my everquest files and go down to eqhost.txt/

when i go to change it to 'eqemulator.net:5998' and go to safe... it gives me a pop up and says "access denide"

I go through the process of the steps fine until i get to step 4. whenever i try to change the text it say access denied when i go to save it. then on the patchme part it doesnt say the things u have...
