Well, one is a newer laptop. It's running Win7 (came with it installed) and can log in fine (I usually box, hence the desire for 2 machines).

The windows firewall is disabled, kaspersky anti-virus...

I've got 2 PCs at home, one of which I've just finished rebuilding as the win7 upgrade proved to be *very* unstable. I've rebuilt the PC back with Vista, and have got the network working...
