Not Connecting to Servers

I've loaded the client, changed the eqhost file, made ths patchme shortcut to eqgame.exe. I can log in using my acct name and pass, but when I try to enter a server, EQ freezes up.
Does anyone know...

This is a REALLY big problem on this server. Im a GM on this server, and getting summoned,bound,and Killed about twenty times is f**** annoying as hell. I would appreciate it if PK'ing was eliminated...
