Say I did patch the may 18th patch. Would there be a way to be able to still play. Like say, my friend dosnt play EQ and I download EQemu on his comp. Will I still be able to play Emu from my comp...

you could try going into your eq.ini (may be called eqclient.ini) file and finding the line that says "WindowedMode=True" and changing it to "WindowedMode=False" may work, may not, but it should if...
