I ended up trying the Mac everquest client that I recently discovered I still had the beta version, changed the eqhosts.txt file according to the information here, but alas...I was not even able to...

I was in the final beta phase for the everquest trial for Mac. Works quite well although still crossing my fingers that the mac version will work under eqemu :) Maybe I should just go buy it and...

Oh crap.....thats not good :( I did read somewhere that mac users were getting their own eqservers, but thought it may have to do with either the fact they are late in the game getting everquest so...

This would be rather cool if the mac clients could connect the eqemu server as well, although I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the mac version of everquest client will work on eqemu?
