I foramtted my computer recently and i need to reinstall everquest. If i were to only install up to velious, would i be able to play eqemu?

I have a question
I recently formatted my computer and i am reinstalling everquest. I wanted to know if there is any possible way that i can play eqemu. If i downloaded only up to velious, would this do it? thanks

Time out occured...
I have the proper eqhost file
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998
and it still will not get me to the server selection screen. any help?

I have a quick question...
I cannot log into EQ. My eqhost is correct and my login/pw info is correct. My internet connection appears to be stable and i have not patched to the latest EQ patch. It is saying that a time out...
