Perl errors during insall

I installed Perl 5.8 as the thread explains, but when I try to run the "perl -MCPAN -e shell" command I get an error telling me to install Bundle::CPAN.

I noticed that a lot of my PoP zones have no mobs or NPCs at all spawned. PoT = empty. Paludal = empty, ect.

It is in fact items at random the dissappear. Sometimes it's worn or help items, other times it's stuff from your inventory slots (like a backpack). Many times its 2 or more itmes that dissappear. ...

If you patched in EQLive anytime after April 21st, it seems that Sony changed the codes again so that they don't work with EQEmu. If that's the case, you'll have to wait til EQEmu v5.7 execs come...

I get mobs aggroing through walls a lot, especially in places like The Warrens. What database should I edit to change this? and any idea what the code would be?

3 newbie questions...

1st - none of the NPCs I talk to will talk back or offer quests (Merchants seem to work). Is this because all of the quests are handled serve side at Sony and so EQEmu cannot duplicate them?

I downloaded the MW055alpha_02 database and used that. Is that DB nearly empty? and is that what is causing items to be dropped when zoning or just what explains to mobs in POP zones?

Got it working....New question

I got the disconnect problem to go away. Dumb me didn't see that when using the minilogin to use 127.0.0.1 address instead of localhost. So anyways, I log in now and stay in the world fine.
