If you have any questions about your config then simply put the machine outside the internal IP's. Use your routable IP and see how it works.

Firewall does not stop client traffic. Firewall will only mess you up if running a server. Never had problems with any firewalls over 6 years of playing EQ, both Live and EMU. With multiple machines...
