Nah, there are only 5 PoP zones that aren't attainable by most guilds. I've been playing since EQ Classic, and I agree, the game is completely different now... But it has pros and cons, like EQ...

As of August 11th, 2004 patch, Scorp2k patch does not work to backpatch. Tested it myself. Wait for the new EQEmu, 'nuff said.

Scorpius2k updated their patcher(a little while back) with the dx9 file and rendereffects folder items, which had been causing most of the problems. I am unsure of this new patch, I'll patch to live...

Scorpius2k has a few working spawn cycles, Xegony is one. Maybe you could ask for their code as a source to create your own... Or make it from scratch.

Some rune spells are bugged. I'd say, dispell for the time being. There also has been a 7-31-04 source released, maybe try that one.

When the code refers to localhost as the zone.exe file, it tried to find the file on the users computer. It needs to be set to an actual IP for other computers not running a zone.exe to play on it....
