Ah, figured it out. I didn't want to break the originals in Abysmal so I created new entries in the DB. Just did copy/paste to a couple diff tables and changed the IDs / zones. Made the perl quests...

Got it! I originally used this wiki about 0.7.0-845 (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=ws70845mysql5) which specifically deals with MySQL 5.0.24 -- which is why I figured it would work....
