There are no conflicts which would cause this. Midi files work find outside of the game...

All the other sounds work...effects, combat music, etc...

I remember a few years ago I had this...

Unfortunately not - I spent countless hours last night getting the Minilogin app to work on my server so I could directly connect.

I want my server to be public but I cannot get past that error...

Music not playing

Anyone know why the EQ music is not playing? I remember having this problem once in EQ Live and somehow fixed it but I don't remember how...

Combat music, death music all work fine, but no zone...

quadruple checked all the settings in the eqclient.ini
updated DirectX
updated video drivers
played with color depth...
