Ok well it was a server side problem easily fixed...

Ok well it was a server side problem easily fixed with a restart .... you shouldn't have any problems logging into this server anymore :)

There are a few things that can cause a 1017...

There are a few things that can cause a 1017 error such as you not having the right EQemu so I would actually google the error and check out people who have had these problems and see how they fixed...
