Everytime I try to type a slash command or # command or just say something in the chat window it causes EQW to crash.... Is this a problem with EQW or am I missing something?

Everytime I attempt to send a message via the chat window either using a / command # command or just saying "Testing one two" I get booted off and EQW crashes....there a solution to this? EQW's the...
